I got this book and began reading it after I finished my quarter for school. I was not able to put this book down! You will fall in love with Lauren and her family (I know I did!). This book should be read by everyone because it has a message that everyone needs to hear. I will put the lessons learned by Lauren into use for myself, because sometimes we look at ourselves as freaks. I would recommend this book to all my friends.

Lauren's story in Diary of a Freak is relate-able, even if you don't have 20+ siblings. High school is hard, family is tough, but we all survive. This story is warm, fun, and will keep you turning the pages. Enjoy!

I have had several strange looks when I tell people the name of my newest book, but all you have to do is look inside. A lot of what Diary of a Freak is about can be summed up in these simple words.

This is a personal look into the life most of us have lived. Not quite to this extreme, but the feelings of being a freak and out of place in life. Tia has such a great way of making you feel the story is about each of us. Great job having us relive our high school years. Not that we really want to do it again, but it's okay looking into someone else's feelings of being a freak.

This is a heart warming book told in a very creative way. Lauren learns an amazing life lesson at a young age about life love and finding her place in the family chaos.

Diary of a Freak will make you smile, it will pull at your heart strings and even make you laugh out loud. It brought me back to my young adult days and the struggles we all go through as we try to discover who we are. A little bit of humor amidst struggles goes a long way and this book helps you find that.
